Mithril Mines
The Mithril Mines page is our opportunity to share with the wider world an
insight into the difficulties and rewards of gemstone mining in a remote,
harsh, and yet beautiful part of NW Nevada. Beyond providing a sense of the
place, we plan, as time permits, to offer helpful information and links to
those of us that love it, be they miners, ranchers, followers of recreational
pursuits, or environmentalists. It is a hard fought and hard won part of
our freedom and heritage. As the sign says:
"Where the Pavement Ends, and the West Begins"
